Travel Cost to China

So we just got off the phone with the Travel Department from CCAI to get a cost more or less of our travel cost, orphanages donations and miscellaneous expenses. This is what were looking at more or less to pick up our baby girl. Our flight to China runs anywhere between $1400.00-$1800.00 per person and then the In China flights runs anywhere from $2800.00-$3200.00 and this cost is for 2 adults and 1 child under the age of 2, this cost also covers the hotel stay and the breakfast for us at all the hotels.  We also found out that the Orphanage donation runs anywhere from $5300-$5500.00 (Isabella's province does not allow any money to be wired to them, which means we have to take this cash to them). So a safe number to cover orphanage fee, visa's, medicals, and miscellaneous expenses would be about $8000.00. So, we really need for our fundraisers to really move to help bring home our baby girl. I know that GOD will provide for us, He always does. But I admit, I am a bit anxious.

"Chip-In" Button

I have added a "Chip-In" button on the top right side of Isabella's blog, if you feel led to help. Please know that these monies are strictly being used for the sole purpose of bringing Isabella home.

May God Bless you tenfold for the blessing that you are to us.

September 12, 2006

Wow, well yesterday 9/12/12 came and went and I forgot to post that yesterday made exactly 6yrs that we logged in our paperwork for our precious Isabella. Yup, we have been waiting for six years and we still have 2-3 months left before we can hold our baby girl in our arms.

It has most defintely been a long journey but we are almost at the end of one part of that journey. I know that once we get Isabella in our arms, I will say "It was worth the wait", I just know it.

We got our Fingerprints done today

This morning, bright and early we dropped of Seth at school and our big boy, hubbie and I headed down south to the ASC's local office to get our fingerprints done. I informed the officer that was taking my fingerprints that the notification letter showed my name as "Marie, Bosch Ileanna" it was written completely out of order, so she told me to def. contact USCIS and advise them of how the name was spelled. So after we left, I immediately got on the phone with the USCIS office and after numerous attempts of not getting a "real person" on the phone, I said a prayer for our Lord to give me wisdom on how I could reach someone instead of an recorded machine... So after I prayed, I looked at my notification letter and there was a Hague Convention number so I called and what do you know? "A real person" answered the phone, it wasen't just a person, it was a USCIS OFFICER, thank you JESUS.... So I informed this officer about my name being written incorrectly on our appointment notification, she advised that she had corrected it in the system and the reviewing officer should catch it, if they are to have any questions, they will call me... So, I said thank you very much and hung up the phone. It is now in God's hand whether there are any setbacks are whether we will be receiving approval for our I800A form. We shall wait and see....
